explorers?

Hey all.
Iseem to be haveing a problem its 1580..I'm playing Austria i control most of central europe and a have a good colonial empire in N america.But the problem is i cant get any exploreres or conquistadors.Is there a way to get them?or maybe is thee a way to get access to enemy maps beside the random spying?Hellllppppp!

I've always had the impression that Explorers/Conquistadors (at least for non-traditional colonial powers) were random.


And you could always use the cheat to show the map.

Austria doesn't get any historical explorers/conquistadors. U4ll have to do with random ones/stealing maps/trading maps/cheating.

You can always try trading for maps, or else steal them from sea battles or by capturing enemy capitals (or just annexing other nations(. Austria doesn't have historical explorers or conquistadors, so you'll have to make do with random ones. Since you won't get many from random events, you'll have to get other countries' maps by one of the above methods. You can get more colonists by building or capturing a ship yard or by converting to Protestant or Reformed.
