Don't know if it's a bug! and if it's not a bug you should change it;)

Explosiv shot don't work on spawners (i guess it don't work on buildings either?) if it's not a bug you should change it so it work.

Other things you could fix to this shot:
- Explode even if the monster is dead (Sometimes the monster dies before the shot explode)
- If you miss all monsters it should still explode

Woah now. Explosive shot really does not need buffing. Also, I'm pretty sure if you kill an enemy tagged with explosive shot before it explodes, it just explodes anyway. Though I'm rarely still paying attention to a mob I hit with it.
 
i have never seen a mob explode after it has been killed. and i still think explosive shoot should stick to all mobs/buildings. and i don't think it works on bosses either
 
What I've seen is tagged mobs exploding as they die if their death was premature. As in, all tagged mobs seem to gib. I could be wrong though. But is explosive shot really not good enough for you as it is? I use it pretty much exclusively. It one shots trolls for crying out loud (as long as they aren't elite). That's saved my life more times than I can count.
 
I'm not saying that is is bad just that it's strange that if tag all mobs except the elite and the bosses? i think this is the only hero attack that don't work on elites and bosses or am i wrong? (not played all mages and warriors)
 
I think when you hit elites it just insta-explodes, but I could be wrong. As for a normal mob dying before time explosion it looks like the bomb goes off right as they die and the desired effect is still produced (i.e. monster explodes, monsters around said monster take damage).
 
Hi, and thanks for the report.

I just checked this out and explosive shot does not hit Spawners, sheep or destroyable objects. I have forwarded this to the Devs. I agree that it feels weird that you fire a shot and it goes straight through some targets, but not others.

Regarding the other issues, I can't reproduce them. Mobs tagged by Explosive Shot that are killed before the timer of it runs out still blow up and damage surrounding enemies as if the Explosive Shot had triggered by its timer. I tried this both host and client side.

Shooting Explosive Shot at Elites it blows up immediately and it does damage to the Elite. Only tried this as host.

If your results differ from mine please report it again and see if you can find the steps to reproduce it, and provide your output_log.

EDIT: It seems that explosive shot actually does not hit any structures at all, also including Beer Tower, Res Tower, Fan and Blocking Wall.
