Extra mage perks from limitied edition don't show in single player game

I can't select extra perks (such as starting heroes) in single player game, but they show up in multiplayer games.

UPDATE: now I can't see the extra content in the multiplayer game either :/

First thing I would try is to verify the game cache on steam.

I've re-installed the game (3rd time)

The first game I played I had the extra content. After few turns I decided to restart, I've started a new game and the extra perks are disapperead again!

Pretty sure the not asking for key is normal.

Well the only person I know IRL who has the Great mage edition isn't having this problem, and I don't have it so I'm afraid I can't be of much help. Hopefully once it's daylight for the devs again one of them can help.

When you reinstall, do you also remove/rename this folder?

Well after upgrading to GM Edition I have now hit this issue. In my case I don't think it had to do with going into MP as it happened right after I got out of the editor, but was fine when I had tested the going into multiplayer.

I just got mine to reappear by going back into the editor and scrolling through the list of units, then exiting back out. No idea what did it but it worked.
