I took advantage of the free trial for Victoria 3, but when I try to launch the game I get an error (I'll attach a screenshot). From what I've researched, it might be related to AVX not being supported, although as far as I know, my PC does support it.

My processor is an Intel Pentium G4560. Also worth mentioning: I can play Crusader Kings 3 without any issues. If someone can help me fix this, I’d seriously consider buying the game. Thanks in advance!

No Pentium supports AVX - where did you read otherwise, as a matter of interest?

The published minimum is Intel® Core™ i5-3470 . If you don't have access to any PC that meets the required hardware, please seek a refund from where you bought the game.

Sorry for the bad news!

Excellent! Luckily I found out during the free trial. Thanks for the quick response. I read it on Intel’s official website, but I may have misinterpreted it. Here's a screenshot.

I think it's Instruction Set Extensions, but I might be wrong.

Thanks again for the quick response. I'll enjoy it when I upgrade my PC!

As you can see there is no AVX on the Instruction Set Extensions line, so that CPU does not support it.
