Family bug?

I have the problem with one event.I can't remember exactly but i think there are 3 options ,it has to do somethong with feuding families and you have option to support one family ,leave them to settle it on there own,or pay 150 ducats for them to settle ,the problem is if i choose to pay 150 ducats i always gain ducats ,sometimes really a lot ,i assume this is not normal .I'm using 1.08 version,no beta...

Is it possible that you didn't have the cash on hand to make the payment, so took a loan, thereby giving you a deceptive amount of cash?
