Family Crests missing

Installed the game today and thought everything was working fine until I started a game and noticed all the crests of the playable kings and dukes and counts were missing it was just black with gold around it where the shield should be, however the shields where there for the Muslim nations. I uninstalled the game and re-installed it and the problem was still there. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Delete gfx folder in documents and settings folder.
