On another matter... I've really enjoyed administrating this award, ever since I resurrected it in 2007 or so. But it's become increasingly obvious I do not have time to really keep up with it. Moderators have been kind enough to update our running list, and other members or moderators have reminded people that it's time to pass the award along.
Is there anyone else who would like to assume the responsibility of running this?
I would love to say "I'll have time soon to return my attention to this," but the fact is it looks like my time will be less available in coming months, not more.

Wow, i'd just got home from working for "The Man" and thought I'd login
to see what was new when I had a private message. Never had one of those
before but Ok...Then when I was reading it my mind jumped to a conclusion
and said WOW! Very similar to the time that my girlfriend (now wife)
stopped by my buddy's house to "celebrate" my birthday with a game of Risk
only to have her ring the doorbell like a space marine holding the trigger
when surrounded by three levels of ravenous alien monsters looking for
a meal and toothpick. Just enough for the mind to go, hey one of these things just doesn't belong here, oh, a surprise party how nice

Anyone with enough time and responsibility? There isn't that work involved really.
I'd have plenty of time to update a running list and to tell people to pick a new person, but only mods can change thread titles.
Keeping the list at the beginning has been fairly easy over the span of the project. The caretaker role really shows itself more when reminding those to pass it on. If you wanted to look after it that way, Yoshi, please do. A timely and friendly reminder is always helpful to make sure the project continues to run weekly and that has really been the great work Renss has done over the years to keep this one moving along.
