Well that was a wonderful surprise, my sincere thanks to @StrategyGameEnthusiast for the nominations. It is sadly ironic that due to work and plague I've been unable to even read the forums, let alone do any actual fan-ing. Indeed I'm far from recovered so I can only apologise for not giving the many kind comments in this thread the response they deserve.
As a vague gesture at the 'what I've been reading' ideal. I was attempting to follow @jak7139 Jak's Game Guide: An EU4 Tutorial in the hope of understanding the game and thus the AARs, I mean I know @Rensslaer "Debt and Mercenaries Uber Alles" approach from Rex Germania - A Brandenburg to Prussia Strategy AAR is not classic gameplay but it would be nice to know what he should be doing, hopefully Jak's AAR will teach me this. @Koweth 's The Legacy of Eadmund: An East Anglian AAR continues to be good and @TheButterflyComposer work on testing if HOI4 is even capable of being the game it pretends to be remains of interest Destiny! Destiny! No Escaping That For Me! – The Historical Sweden Challenge. For completeness I mention @coz1 The Wars of the Roses but frankly I'm sure everyone is aware of it. Box ticked.
I'm aware I'm late in handing this on, so sorry about that. Your mildly belated winner has been providing excellent commentary and wonderful questions on Butterfly Effect and I presume elsewhere. A reader who pays attention and takes the time to think about it themselves is, like a Rolls in the Desert, more valuable than rubies, so I am delighted to nominate @Zeogludon as your Fan of the Week.
