I have found that for some reason, I just can't get into CK AARs or the game itself. Same with EU for that matter. Vicky/Ricky and Vicky 2 and 3 as well as the HOIs I find very interesting if the stories are good. Stellaris seems a mixed bag. Some good, some not. JMO, YMMV

@son of liberty if you're willing to give CK a chance I bet you'd really enjoy Siberian Prosperity. Almost exactly a year ago I made it the Showcase of the Week because I was rather skeptical of CK also, and completely unfamiliar, but @Sanvone's gameplay AAR is not just educational and instructional, but exceptionally readable with many twists and turns to make it fun.

Ok, that is a strong recommendation and I did/do enjoy @jak7139 eu4 thread. I will look for it and check it out.

First of all - thank @TheExecuter for nomination and all of the congratulations received. I really apprecieate it.
Congratulations to @Sanvone . I am plowing may way slowly through his economic gameplay opus Siberian Prosperity now, but as usual, I am far behind the current action. (Just one of a handful of longer pieces I am attempting to read from the start. One of these days I will get to the work of @coz1 too.) Well done, Sanvone.
Congratulations @Sanvone! I've read a bit of your Siberian AAR, but am also very far behind. Your discussions of strategy in it and elsewhere are always insightful.
Congratulations @Sanvone!

Your comments are always welcome and educational!

And Siberian Prosperity is awesome, though I admit to also being quite behind in reading it.

No need to explain yourself - I'm not taking attendance ;). This AAR is for people who are interested. I get the distinct feeling that it might be more enjoyable to play it than read about it. Still - thank for shoutout. On that topic (as I already was called out) - be wary that beginning of that Siberian Prosperity AAR might be little rough (my first steps in AARland). At least in my opinion graphic formating and some presentation gets better down the line. Learned a lot and if another AAR will happen then few things will probably change to improve the pace (no longer earliest date + probably 20 years of gameplay per part altough I'm not sure how I will manage to manage it time wise).

Sadly last 2 weeks were too intense for me to get on top of things. Had idea for little discussion but as the time is up will just mention few AAR's that I'm currently enjoying. First is the one that got me this nomination - @Rensslaer Shining Stars - A United States Coming of Age Saga and the other is @jak7139 Jak's Game Guide: An EU4 Tutorial. Can't say no to gameplay AAR's that goes into thought process and decision making. What's more to expect from strategy games? There are so many variations of how strategy gamers operate and with it potential to learn from others. It is my opinion that PDX games shine the most once you get into nitty-gritty of events/mechanics instead of just speed 5'ing towars finish line. It was one of such gameplay AAR's for EU2 that got me into this part of the forum.

Now onto passing the spotlight onto @TWR97. One of my commenters whose presence lately was encouraging me to push through my Siberian AAR as I enter this bizairre late phase of AAR. It was some time since he received this award last time so I'm using this opportunity to award him for his continuous presence in few long running AAR's across various games.
