Introduction : Far in the North
​

First, this story is the tale of an island, an island far from the wars between the Cross and the Moon, far from the political intrigue in the empires of this World, but also far from the warmth of the south.

But this story is also the story of a man, of a dynasty across the ages. Will this dynasty stand against the test of time, or will they be forever forgotten, only the Old Gods may know.

Hasaba Kakyoid, born on the island some twenty-six years ago, was recently chosen by his tribe to become the new Chief, following the death of the ancient Chief, who was childless. He is a good warrior, bravery shine in his eye, but he has yet to show his talent on the battlefield. He doesn't have any children for the moment, and he hasn't find a good bride yet, but that will soon change.

As the wind of change start to blow, no one could know what will happen in the far north ....

Hello everyone, welcome to my first AAR on this forum, my first English AAR would be more exact. I'm french, so if you find any mispellings, i encourage you to correct me, one of the reason i'm writing an AAR is to improve. I'll try to post one chapter per week, or more if i'm motivated.

Here are some rules for this AAR :
-No cheat, i'm not in ironman, but i won't use any command that may give me an advantage.
-No savescumming, it'd ruin the whole charm of CK2
-I'll try to roleplay my character, bring them to life, if you have any advice, you're welcome.

The Goals are :
-Reform the Religion/ Convert to another religion.
-Reform to Feudal/Merchant Republic
-Create an Empire.
-Send the Aztecs back to America.
-Turn Kolguyev into a bustling seven-holding metropolis island
-If you have any interesting suggestions, i'm open to ideas.

Chapter 1 : The First War
​

I, Hasaba, was resting in my house, I had been busy these last two months, because of my new title, Chief. I had to reorganize a new council to accomplish some of the tasks I couldn't do, I send my chancellor to the Kozhva tribe in the south, to negotiate a marriage between me and the daughter of the local Chief, but also to form an alliance to fight against our ennemy.

My Chancellor came back ,around three weeks after he left, with the bride, but also an alliance.

Me, and my council, are also planning to conquer lands on the continent, the Kanin Tribe seems to be a good target, they have around the same number of warriors as our tribe, and with the help of our ally we can easily defeat them.

I send a messenger to the Kanin, to announce them that they must surrender their lands or die. They are fools, and they decided to fight against us, it's time for my first war !

The plan is the following :

We must wait for the Kozhvan to arrive, during this time, we must defend our island against any possible invaders,then we will attack the army of our ennemy together.
I was brave, yet this was my first real fight, I was excited to lead our troops to glory !
With my axe, I yelled : "Victory at all costs !" , and we started to move towards the ennemy.

Soon, our ally arrived and we crushed the ennemy, they had no other choice but to retreat, and we started to siege their tribe.

Finally after two months, we entered the tribe, and the populations showed no resistance, we never fought again their army, my theory is that they must have flee because they feared my might.

Thanks to this war, i now knew what it was to be a real warrior, and I was resolved to conquer even more lands, my Legend could finally start.

Chapter 2 : The Warrior of the North​

After my first conquest, I was approched by the Followers of Otso, a famous society of warrior in the north. They had recognized my prowess in battle, and they proposed me to join the warriors if i'd pass their trial. I must fight against one of their member, to prove that i'm not only a good strategist, but a fierce warrior.
I prepared my axe, and my armor, I was ready to face my opponent.
I was a bit chocked when I saw that my opponent was a woman, It made me angry to know that this wasn't a real "challenge"

Of course, I easily defeated her, and i was accepted in the society.
Few months passed, and my army was ready. To war !!!

We met the ennemy at Snopa, our ally was coming soon, our rivals couldn't possibly face our might.

We fought for a second time the ennemy, and they had no choice but to surrender to me, it allowed me to gain more influence on the continent.

Around a month after the end of the war, my first child was born from one of my concubines, too bad it was a daughter who couldn't inherit our land. But I also learned that this concubine had cheated on me, so I imprisonned her and I executed her.

My army, emboldened by our total victory, was once again ready to go to war,but this time, we will declare war against a stronger ennemy, the High Chief of Zavarot.

Nonetheless, we beat them at Zavarot, and we laid siege to their tribe.

A few months later, I was once again victorious, and Chief Nenyts Tobyid became my first vassal, he kept his land, and i gave him the position of steward on my council to ensure his loyalty.

And on the 20 of October 1070, I declared myself High Chief of Kolguyev, I was now the master of the northern coast, but now , I should also seek to extend my influence in the south ......
