Fatal error when loading - Localisation error #DLGOLDVIDEO is not found

Have been playing Warlock 2 with no issues then today I get this error message when I try to load up:

"Error init modules: ERROR: Localization error: #DLGOLDVIDEO is not found. It's bad."

Didn't see any patches hit, tried verifying integrity of game cache through steam and then deleted and re-installed but neither of those worked.

Try renaming this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<SteamID>\205990

That was the name (with the relevant hard drive and steamID) as I went looking for the log folder mentioned in the sticky thread, but weirdly it's started working again. Didn't do anything apart from restart the computer (more specifically turned it off when I went for lunch and turned it back on later).
