All,
My ife will be becomming busier soon. We are hopefully buying a house, and there will be more moving to do. Then there is Christmas. Then I will be preparing for a new career, running a day care facility from my home, and will need to get that business up and running (or at least up and walking, if wobbly
). Then EU3 will come out.
So, below are the remaining betas I will upload, before doing Interregnum 1.0 at the end of November.
Will there be more after that? Probably. I always have ideas churning out and I live the mod. But if I/we/others decide to be involved in an EU3 version, then this will end as an actively-built mod. If EU3 turns out to be the wrong venue, then I might continue, updating it for MyMap or WATK3. Or maybe I'll just be too busy.
In addition to the principal content listed below, each beta may also have items from the 'other projects' list, debugging, tweaks etc.
It may also contain material from the "It was promised ages ago" section from that named person. (I am not holding my breath, although I know mikl will come good.)
October 11: Halych-Volhynia and the struggle of eastern Europe, including new related events for the Boyar League, Teutonic Order and Ukraine. DONE
October 18: The Horde Awakens, events for the Horde rebuilding itself after the turmoil of the 1400s, plus events for neighbouring countries, such as Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia etc. DONE except for Ukraine and Ruthenia ...
October 25: The delayed material for Ukraine and Ruthenia, plus mikl's massive next phase of Papal States and Bavaria. DONE
November 8: China makeover, part 2 and really the only thing I will be doing for the far east. There simply isn't anyone to do it properly, so China part 2 will be a few key events that cover all the players in the region, plus leaders and monarchs. Significantly, I will include explorers and conquistdors and the ai files to help the various states find their way to California. because this will require me to also adjust the Colonial files and events for nations like Azteca and Dichali, it's a two-week-wait.
November 15: Colonial RotW and the African rebuild, which is a matter of tidying up some loose ends, and redistributing how the rest of africa is divided/vacant. Mostly it won't be vacant, but there will be events for gaining cores/province secession so that players can annex for coaling stations (the ai doesn't need them).
November 22: The Counter Reformation, the events covering the result of mikl's long arc of events that can have the Catholic Church reform itself, and the resulting Counter Reformation. Possibly more work than I imagine.
November 28: Interregnum 1.0
Small projects include ...
1. Asturias leaders and explorers (nothing before 1560). DONE
2. More events for Brittany and Burgundy
3. A chunky event for Eire for the division of the Ard-Ruire-ship into two roles.
4. Explorers for Finland , Bavaria and Kalmar to be in the new system.
5. Some last Malian events.
6. Maybe the Champa events of Ahmed, but they seem a little out of place with the rest of China being so bereft.
7. Finishing the province_religion file to cover Germany, waiting on mikl's stuff (see below).
8. Adding more colony names specific to Interregnum cultures.
The Promised Material
1. mikl's remaining events for the reformation of the church and Bavaria.
2. SunZyl's reworking of Union of Kalmar and Norway.
3. Calipah's reworking of the Mamelukes/Egypt
4. Calipah's material for India (less likely).
5. Orimazd's material for the Cacoal.
6. Orimazd's material for Central America.
7. Orimazd's material for the Inca region.
8. Thantos' material for the Kingdom of Italy.
9. Incompetant's material for Norway and the formation of Alba
There might be others, but I don't recall at this stage.
Phew!
