Fear of the Dark, Post Apocalyptic, or Toxic God AI

I like to create empires that are also a viable challenge with the AI. Like the Progenitor Hive Spiders that I have now lost to 3 times.

Currently I want to create another empire with a challenge if I’m not playing it. I’ve never played Fear of the Dark, Knights of the Toxic God, or Post Apocalyptic, but I’m creating an empire wondering which origin is more suited for the AI? No spoilers regarding situations or events that origin specific please because I haven’t played either of these origins.

I would say Post Apocalyptic is the one the AI will have less trouble with, but it will still struggle a bit.

Edit: Fear of the Dark might work actually, since the main issue of the origin is less research alternatives, but it's not like the AI takes good decisions with more anyway.

Knights is a big no no for sure, it's just a big early disadvantage if you play normaly, and the AI will.

With fear of the dark the ai tends to go the evil route. Partially because they tend to fail the main event.
