1. No honour is credited to you through monthly sources in February as there is no day 29 of the month (exception could be leap years, I don't know if they are coded...). Note: this means we have all been playing with only 91 or 92% of the monthly honour income we should be getting... and so has the AI.

2. I mentioned elsewhere but to put it here - the bride finder (haven't checked the male equivalent) only shows some of the potential brides. If you exit the marriage finding screen and open another screen (e.g. the ledger, or a kori screen) and then you reopen the marriage screen you will get a different selection of potential brides (all this while paused). Some drop out and some which ere not there before are now shown - a real PITA.

3. The females names which are used in the game only go up to K. (Kim... or Kin... if I've got it right.) At first I thought it was some kind of weird humour but after noticing a file listing many more I realise it's not working as intended. Check the character screen, scroll down past K and there's no gals.

4. This just happened once last night, so it will need confirmation. I had a betrothal arranged (sweet little 4 year old genius...) but it disappeared. No message (had the message checked to show for broken betrothals) just me realising a few years later that my heirs betrothed had disappeared without any notice being given. I would like to be informed she died, or whatever...

5. Trivial but... the message selection you set from inside the game (not from the game menu) resets itself to the the default minimum on reload. I like to see more messages than that - can those preferences be saved?

Edit: There is a thread about betrothals disappearing here http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?560427-Betrothals-null-and-void

And 5. may be a dud. My game today loaded with the settings I had when I exited with yesterday. It did not do this the day before... so now I don't know.

To feelotraveller:

Point 1: Unable to reproduce. I played through six years of peace with only the peace modifier as my monthly honor gain (+0.10 honor/month).
I measured my honor on the 16th of February each year and got the following:
Start: 32.30 honor
-1 year later: 33.50 honor
-2 years later: 34.70 honor
-3 years later: 35.90 honor
-4 years later: 37.10 honor
-5 years later: 38.30 honor
-6 years later: 39.50 honor
Note that you will receive honor some dates later in February, around 8 feb, and around date 5-6 in the other months, but all in all I got 1.2 honor/year.

Point 3: Confirmed and reported to the devs.

Hi Nafastus,

I just checked and it reproduces on my machine. See the saves below. I started a brand new game as Nanbu and did nothing. 26 May to 26 May. After 1 year 1.1 honour gain, after 2 years 2.2. I didn't go on. Perhaps you can load up the first save and see what it does for you. If it does something different, that, in fact, is even more of a worry. (You will have to unpause it a few times or change the message settings.)

I have the release version of the game, from GG, unmodified, 1.01c (DBVU). Downloaded on the first day.

I say that because every game I have played the monthly honour is credited to my leader on the 29th of the month (I have never seen any variation). I do not get anything between 29 January and 29 March. I noticed first because the yearly totals didn't add up. The gold income, in my games, is always credited on the 2nd of the month. Levies grow on the 1st, I think, at least somewhere between 29th and 2nd. Never had anything credited on 5-6 or 8 or any other date for monthly income.

Anyone else who wants to check out my saves, or the fine details on their own copies/machines, I'm most interested.

It appears we are both correct!
With your save file, and when starting my own game as Nanbu, I only received 1.1 honor/year and got the honor on the 29th as you stated.
However, when playing with Osaki, you will receive 1.2 honor/year and the dates will vary.

This is a serious balance issue since it basically means some clans get more honor then the other clans.
Have you found any other clans suffering from this "condition"?

Well spotted by the way! :)

Okay, I did some more checking and the date(s) of the month the honour (and gold) income is credited varies with the clan/dynasty.

Too much playing with the Nanbu me thinks  But I think you will find my claims are entirely substantiated with them.

Still it is definitely a problem (for them it is honour but not gold). Given the number of dynasties in the game it almost certainly affects some of the others. 30th will be just as bad and 31st worse. And there's two monthly incomes...

edit: :ninja: ah, got me...
No I haven't but there's what, about a hundred different playable factions?

Yeah, might be a tad much to test every faction :).
I've reported it to the devs, most likely it has to do with which date the clans get their different incomes credited.

Note on female names...

It also applies to all male and female courtiers

Anyone whos name begins with a letter after K is either scripted or a child born to a ruler...
Start a new game and check a few courts... its males also... (apart from the exception I describe)

Jace11: Noticed that as well, its reported to the devs.

feelotraveller: Confirmed point 2 on your list as well and its also reported.

Thanks for the reports fellas!

In the future, please write a separate thread for each issue. It is very easy to lose a bug from a list where all other bugs are fixed (or at least reported).

This only happens if you quit the game. If you Resign the settings get saved. Looks like a bug, I just made a post about it at http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?561333-Message-Rules-not-saved-on-quiting-game

Okay, sorry for the faux pas on bugs. I'll report separately in future.

Good work Harain, that's probably why I couldn't reproduce it but saw it happen. (Oddly if I was doing separate, as I shall do in the future, I probably would not have created a post just for it, shrug.)

Thanks a lot for the clarification. I could not reproduce it before... Because I was resigning the game. Quitting was totally a different thing. Thanks! I am reporting it in our internal forum.

Just noticed something: resigning only keeps the message settings till you quit, next time you restart they revert back to default. So, it seems the message settings in the overlay don't get saved at all (unless I'm missing something)

Yes, you are right. I have reported it just the way you have described it.

I don't know what causes them to be saved either but mine have been. Although at first I had this problem too. After they first saved how I wanted them I have not had cause to change.
