I finally got the season pass because I've been accepted for a voice over job so I decided I can finally treat myself. Anyways, I remember seeing some people talking about habitability going over 100%, but I can't seem to remember what it was that let them do that. Can someone remind me? It was one of the biomorphosis ascension paths I assume? The wiki says nothing about it.

edit: nevermind, found it, it's one of the flexible traditions, Environmental Integration, which allows 200% habitability.

It's the Environmental Integration flexible tradition, primarily focued on the Mutation Biomorph ascension path.

  • Founder species gains the Mutagenic Habitability trait
  • Divergence Directive agenda gives all organic species the Mutagenic Habitability trait
  • Mutagenic Habitability trait can reach 200% habitability and give the following for every 1% above 100%:
    • +0.25% Job efficiency
    • −0.25% Pop housing usage
    • −0.25% Pop amenities usage
So in total with 200% habitability you'd have 25% job efficiency, 25% reduced housing usage, and 25% pop amenities usage. So stack any species traits and bonuses that improves habitability and they'll stack above 100%. iirc, the trait defaults your pops at 50% habitability, then gradually auto-adapts your pops to the planetary preference they're currently inhabiting (its like the auto-mod job traits).

NOTE: this is one of the flexible tradition choices, and is not fully exclusive to the Mutations tradition itself. Feel free to add it either of the other Biomorph traditions.
