First Danish game

On my way home from school today, I'm going to the post office to get Vic (lousy Postal Service who don't give their delivery guys change!! They really ARE doing hanky panky in the Danish Post ), and I intend to start with playing Denmark. Now, my questíon are these:
What should my priorities be when I start? Industrialization ASAP, or build up some capital (or military power?) before? How do I achieve this?
Secondly, my 1920-goals are these:
1: Having restored "Denmark to the Elbe", which will mean annexing Schleswig-Holstein.. Any way to do this without Prussia and Austria wanting my a..?

2: Building a large colonial empire. Is there another way to do that than taking it by force?

3: Reuniting Scandinavia under the Danish Crown. Is this too lofty? Should I just aim at regaining Norway from the köttbullar-eaters on the other side of the Sund? (No offence intented towards my Nordic brothers )

Would people like to see me do an AAR on the game?

Well best of luck.

IT seems to me that you need to avoid the 1848 war with the whole German mess. I would go for a Danish/Russian alliance if at all possible.
If you are really lucky Prussia might get itself into a major war and won't be able to focus on Denmark.
You need a big army. Might as well get rid of the navy. It can't help you if you don't survive 1848.
I am thinking that the big -cash cow factories arent the way for denmark. They are often dependant on resources that are somewhat hard to come by.
The paper market and the furniture market seems stable all the time.
cheap to import wares.
Canned food might also be an overlooked buissines as you make almost all the raw materials yourself.

On hold

I think I'm going to have to put the writing of an AAR on hold until I've gotten a general idea of the structure and manegement of the game... It's more complicated than any game I've played before, so it's gonna take some time
