So I tried out my first game of Japan in v .30.
I played till 1938 so far.
1. I like Japans larger industrial base now. The more IC helps.
2. So after i supported the 2-26 coup I declare war on manchuria. I then proceeded to annex Manchuria by July 1937. Their new increase in IC helps also. Then Nationalist China went crazy and simultaneously declared war on all the Chinese warlords. The Nationalist China declared war on Tibet even though they did not have a common border. Then Nationalist China annexed the warlord above Tibet meaning I had to go all the way out to Golmed to annex China. On ever other front but Yunnan though Nationalist China was losing. Guangxi Clique had almost gotten to Nanjing.
3. When Marco Polo occured there was no Unified Front just peace was made with all the Warlords except for 2. So I got to annex the warlord with beijing in it since they were still at war with Nationalist china. Which helped because there were no free troops for Nationalist china when it annexes warlords.
4. Japansese manpower is insanely low. They start with only .28 per day. Im finally up to .68 per day after 6 months of war.
Overall a fun game for Japan also.
