Can't reply to the other thread with the person that's actually having this problem so if someone could post it as a reply that may be good...

I've known about the fix for a few days as the game would not start when I bought it, and I tried everything to fix it. I was going to take it back and then noticed the Config program, so I tried unticking every option until eventually the game worked. Here is the fix:


Go into your "C:\Program Files\....\Cities in Motion" folder (... will be different depending on which company you bought the game from). In this folder, there is a file called Config.exe. Open it, and on the right, tick "Disable Audio". Then click "Save and Start".

The game will now actually start, with no error messages, only a lack of sound (which isn't really that crucial.


Of course if this issue could be properly fixed, that would be great - I'd love to here the theme tune or whatever...
