I played a game as Jianzhou > Manchu > Qing and noticed I got no historical events. Turns out the events in flavorMCH.txt and flavorMNG.txt haven't been updated to account for the post-AoW situation (Manchu begins split up, Qing is now a thing). This means that some events aren't firing for their historical tags. The game currently has no events at all that fire for Qing. So I went through the Mancu and Ming events and made the necessary changes. Those being:

Nurhachi's Reforms (flavor_mch.1)
Now fires for Jianzhou if Manchu does not exist (changed from only fires for Manchu)

The Manchu Army Reforms (flavor_mch.3)
Now fires for Qing if Manchu does not exist (changed from only fires for Manchu)

The Revolt of the Three Feudatories (flavor_mch.5)
Now only fires for Qing (changed from only fires for Manchu)

The Expulsion of the Jesuits (flavor_mch.6)
Now only fires for Qing (changed from only fires for Manchu)

The Appointment of Heshen (flavor_mch.7)
Now only fires for Qing (changed from only fires for Manchu)

Lord Macartney's Mission (flavor_mng.15)
Now fires for Qing. Only fires for Ming if Qing does not exist. (Changed from only fires for Ming)

The White Lotus Rebellion (flavor_mng.16)
Now fires for Qing. Only fires for Ming if Qing does not exist. (Changed from only fires for Ming)

edit: Re-uploaded the Ming event file, since in the original I forgot to change a reference to "MNG" to "ROOT".

edit: And here's some updates missions and a decision:

Construct the Forbidden City
Available to Qing and Ming instead of Ming and Manchu

defend_korea
Available to Qing and Ming instead of just Ming

colonize_taiwan
Available to Qing and Ming instead of Ming and Manchu

The decision "Construct the Forbidden City" should also be made available to Qing, as well as some of the missions.

Thanks for this :) From what I could see most of this has been needed since way before AoW though but that doesn't make it any less needed ;)
I also seemed like it was time to remove the requirement to own the island of Ternate for triggering MCH events 6 and 7...

Ah, for some reason I thought that Qing was added for AoW, but apparently not. Thanks for looking at this :D

Thank you. I've been asking for this a few times for quite some time via the bug report forum. I guess the suggestions forum is turning out pretty well. :)
