Hello everyone,

I've been playing Stellaris Xbox One Edition and been having a tremendous time, I'm really appreciate of the games learning curve.

I've been watching Paradox Xl's youtube videos but I've a question about fleet management. More specifically it seems somewhat tricky moving ships between fleets proper. I can only spilt fleets and remove ships.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm sorry if this has been posted in the wrong place.

To merge fleets you use the outliner to multi-select all of them (on PS4 this done via the square button; I think that's X on the Xbox), the infobox near the outliner will tell you what buttons to use to add/remove/convirm the selection. Once multi-selected you can use the "merge" button under the "manage" tab of selected units.

So as far as I'm aware the only way to move some ships from fleet #1 to fleet #2 is to transfer them out to a new temporary fleet #3 (via the "manage" tab) and then multi-select the fleet #2 & #3 and merge them. Fleet #3 will then follow fleet #2 until they are close enough to merge. Note: if the temporary fleet is small/weak it can be useful to set their stance to "evade" so they avoid combat until merged.
