Flickering Screen

My PC:

P3-1000
GeForce 2Ti (driver 4.1.0.9)
512 MB RAM
Win2000

Playing the game on the Win2K Pc is a little bit enervating.

Because the screen is constantly flickering!


I ve tried to reduce the resolution (from 1280 down to 800) - same result.

I ve tried to change the frequency (flatscreen) - same result.

I also tried to disable the music - same result.

I ve tried the game on my other PC with XP - all is ok.

Anyone an idea?

The two possible solutions to this problem are:
A) Turn down the Video card acceleration usually to about half way but you can experiment.
B)Lower the refresh rate.

Hmm, Not sure in win2K
In Win ME it is in the control panel - System - Performance - Graphics.

Ok - I ve found the option.

And it helps !!!

No more flickering ... but a very slow game

(but that's the price)

You could try the lower refresh rate. Also remeber to turn the acceleration back up for 3D games.

Have you tried both the refresh rate and lowering the acceleration and also renaming the AVI folder to AVI_Back?
