Hey,

is there any way to force the game to flatten the ground before placing a park? I've made a skatepark which looks alright in the editor, but it breaks apart once you place it ingame on a slightly uneven terrain.
I've seen the game flattening terrain for residential buildings before, anyway to get that for my custom park object?

Also, if there isn't, has anybody got an idea how else I could get this to work?

This is what it looks like in the editor (the bowl is the main "building FBX" while the rest (kicker and rails) are custom props.

And this is what it looks like in my test city:

(Also, this is what it looks like on a relatively flat ground, for some reason it adds even more dirt between the pavement and the "hole" in the terrain than it does in the editor. Very very annoying.)

Try hexediting the .crp file and searching for m_flattenTerrain
Directly after it will be either 00 (off) or 01 (on)

Although, this may not fix the problem since there appears to be something else controlling this behaviour too, perhaps hard coded based on the item's class.

Its something I touched upon in my thread about exposing options here:

I am having the same problem (as are others)... I wanted to make some surface tile assets but due to this can't A few more examples: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...ldynes-props-and-things.848968/#post-19130881
