foreigner Armies

I was playing Mexico.
I made armies with Texans and while they were in Texas, I decided to satellize them to avoid the US from invading me.
These soldiers disappeared from the map, but now i can't re-deploy them cause the texan-soldier pop is now in the independant Texas !
Is editing the save the only solution ?

Are they in your reserve-pool, or have they dispapeared totally? If they've disappeared totally, they'r eprobably part of the now independant Texan army.

they are in the reserve-pool, but i can't deploy it anymore.
(i also try the "deploy all" button)
so don't free a country by satellizing it while you have an army on these lands

I thought that any divisions you had on the map based on soldier-POPs in provinces that you secede in some way followed the province. That is, that those divisions would become Texan, since their POP has become Texan.

I know there's a problem with divisions you are building that get finished after you have seceded their home province; perhaps this is something related?

you may be right, it is the same problem.
these units can be "deployable" only when i will re-conquer these provs, just like when you have prov occupied and where you can't deploy your mobilized troops.

I still thought that Texas would get control over these troops, since they were located in Texas and their home province also was within the new Texan borders.
