Forum and Scripts?

I post on the Paradox forums already a longer time. Recently I started to use Adblock plus and Noscript addons for my browser because other websites tended to either swamp me with advertising or crash my browser with huge amount of scripts. When I first visited the paradox forums again after installing those addons I allowed scripts from "paradoxplaza.com" when noscript asked if I allow those. However noscript tells me that the forum wants to start a script from google.analytics.com too which it currently can´t as noscript is set to only allow scripts from those sites that I specifically allow. What is/are those scripts that are used on this forum that need google? Does it matter at all if I prevent that/those scripts when I visit the forum?

We use Google analytics to see how many users we have, at what time you are most active and that sort of thing.

We get more accurate results if you allow the scripts, but it's not a disaster if you choose to have them off either.
