I will be starting a new WiR-like game in the next few days. It will begin on July 14th 1789 with the storming of the Bastille. This thread is for player signups.
Things you need to know about the game. It will be a lot more like WiR 1756 was than like 1953. Rules will be simple and stats minimalist. Only a couple orders per turn per country and relatively rapid updates. My goal is to try to balance having a game that moves rapidly with relatively high quality of the content. To this end I will keep the number of players relatively low.
If you would like to sign up for the game, here is what you do. Post a list of three countries you would like to play in order of preference. Posting first does not guarantee you get the country. Make a note if there is a specific country you really, really want to play for some reason.
