THE YANKEES AND DIXIES

Hello, viewers and welcome to The Yankees and Dixies, a forum game where you play as individual nations in April 1861, right after the Fire on Fort Sumter, North Carolina that began the American Civil War. In this game, tactics, strategy and diplomacy are key to obtaining a solid victory in the world of The Yankees and Dixies, and there is also a certain level of instability behind all of this due to the complete madness that is the Civil War.

Rules:
- If you signed up to play as a certain country, you officially claim it by stating the following information:

- COUNTRY'S NAME AND PICTURE OF THEIR FLAG
- CURRENT RULER AND HEIR (IF REPUBLIC, LIST THE CURRENT'S PRESIDENT'S COUNCIL)
- PRIME MINISTER (IF REPUBLIC, VICE-PRESIDENT)
-GENERAL OVERVIEW OF COUNTRY AND CURRENT SITUATION

- Active participation is completely mandatory, and to join the Yankees and Dixies IRC, simply go to (http://www.coldfront.net/tiramisu/) to obtain OOC chat and type in /join #Yankees_and_Dixies.
- Any breaking of forum rules on this game will simply not do.
- I (the creator of the game) will be the only moderator for now. If anybody wants to also be moderator, go to the link up above and ask me in a PM.

If Spain is already taken, I do respectfully ask for the opportunity to run the United States of Mexico.
 
This looks l like it could be interesting. I would like to request to play the UK if that should not be possible then I request the Second French Empire.
