Ok, complaint here. And yes, I’m purposely posting here. The game is great, the forums are wonderful. Yet....

Forums are supposed to be here to answer questions, keep the community involved and generally make the game more accessible and fun for everyone.

What's with the Forum THUGs? How arrogant can you be to constantly whine about WHERE something is posted? People TRY to post correctly most of the time, and it’s REALLY annoying for the first reply to your question to be a rant about how you didn’t get the post in the correct sub-forum. We understand that posting in the correct area is preferred and we TRY.

Good god, get a grip and keep the power trips out of the forums.

Instead of:

"Why are you posting this here? Stop posting this here and put it in the correct area"

You could try:

"Good question, (supply answer) you might try "correct forum name" for a bit more information."

Of course you won’t be able to flex your "im a forum god" muscles as much.

Give it some thought.

Regards,
Paying customer.

You are right, sometimes I find myself to be maybe a little harsh too. But we are men, we can have been a bad day and then, while reading the forum our stupid mental order is broke by a Russian MP post in the naval thread, and maybe we repled without thinking twice about using the right words....

So, my apologies for every time someone felt hurt by our words.

If so many people play and (hopefully) like CORE is because a lot of people shared and posted here (in the wrong or the correct thread doesn't matter) its own 2 cent!

Wow..

Please understand that i dont have anyone specific in mind when i made the post. I think that you guys that take the time and put forth the effort to volunteer, moderate and generally help those of us fumbling our way through the game are very wonderful. I guess it's just a general reminder to anyone that responds that there are many of us out there that need our hands held through the process.

KorosQA, please not use phrase "paying customer", I've never recieved a cent for my job for CORE (nor I expect any)... :)

If someone was rude to you, I'm sorry to hear that. Most of the time, we answer people just the way you posted - answering on the question then showing them, where it suppose to go correctly. But the truth is, that we are sometimes harrased by notorious 'wild posters', who apparently not listen to our suggestions. This kind of behavior doesn't help them or us. We simply can miss such a post, since we usually concentrate on answering the questions on the topics we 'lead' (like Steel is Far East coordinator, I work with Techs/USSR and so on). Try to look on that from our perspective - we answer 30+ answers (sometimes quite complex) every day, and CORE is not something we do for a living (well, we do, but the money for life comes from real jobs). :D

This forum regardless of being CORE is part of Paradox's support infastructure. Just because someone answers 30+ posts a day does NOT give that person (even volunteers) the right to be rude to the paying customers. ALL Paying customers. If someone has the title of Moderator, you have a responsibility to be civil and helpful at all times.

I'm sorry if you feel slighted.

Now you are overdoing it. Whoever owns this forum wishes to give a high level of support to all visitors here. All visitors. To handle this there are rules, that should ensure, that requests and feedback are put into a form that doesn't obstruct readability or support performance.

Now, by not complying to this rules you, as a single person, do obstruct the readability of this forum and hence lower the quality of the service available.
So I, as a paying customer, am concerned with your damaged, that affects me.
I, as a paying customer, expect the moderator team to help me here and keep the system going at maximum effectivity.

KorosQA, without answering who exactly and what topic you got on mind it's rather difficult for us to to find out, what is the real problem.

As you probably noticed, on this thread (and generally on the CORE forum threads) you discuss things with CORE members/players. Moderators are very rarely here, most of the time doing dirty job of merging threads that can be easily added to existing ones (like questions about bugs can be easily added to the CORE:BUG thread).

What's more, on your complaint there answered 3 members of the CORE team, and first answer was given 1 hour after the question. The answer was both polite and informative. Honestly, I work for life in customer support department and I can hardly find example of comercial company that answers most of the customer e-mail questions in less then one hour. Thing to think about...

So, you complaint concerns moderators or team members?
