Found a cool glitch

Hi all,

I was playing my city the other day and noticed something interesting.

1. Select a building with sub-buildings. Shown below, I have a gas power plant

2. Select a sub-building. In this case, the extra oil tanks

3. While still having the sub-building selected, press the "X" on the main building pop-up window (highlighted in the image below with the red circle).

4. You can now place the sub-building anywhere you want on the map!

This save has no mods. I also tried it with any building that has sub-buildings and they all seem to work. I think its a glitch because the main building doesn't seem to recognize having the sub-building when placed this way. Otherwise, I noticed this entry from the last patch:

• Fixed relocation action being canceled when trying to relocate buildings to a forbidden place.

Might explain it.

Nice trick, however it seems pretty useless other than decorative.

I recreated this using the cargo train stations warehouse, however the placed building is not associated with the main building afterwards. The overall cargo capacity does not increase and you cannot select the additional building from the "main building". Also the new created building does not seem to attract any trucks to store something.
