I'm not sure if there's a message or faq that list all the current known playtime bugs, but if so, I haven't found it (Though I haven't looked THAT hard.)...
I just started playing recently, and I'm currently running 1.9 of Benelux, and I noticed that there are some kind of weird behaviors going on that I'm not really expecting... (This is running on the Fantasia scenario.)
1) Fractions are not added in research (Actually, tenths). I put my research ledgers in the beginning to all even (20% for LT, NT, TL, Inf, $), so I'm getting 0.6 for each research, and yet it doesn't show up at all after a year's worth of research... (e.g., for TL, my monarch value is 4, and my research is 0.6. So, I would expect research completed to be 4.6 *12 = 55.2. Instead, at the end of the year I get 4 * 12 = 48)... However, when I push my research past the unit point (i.e., 1.0, 2.0, etc.), that change does get added on. Is this an intended "feature," or is this a bug...
2) Trade tariffs don't seem to be added to my treasury after each year. It always goes up by the census taxes, but that's it.
3) When colonizing provinces with natives, I seem to only have to send 6 colonists, and then my city automatically grows up with the natives added on. However, with no natives, I need to send 7 colonists... (Basically, if I have 500-599 people in the province, I only have to send 1 more colonist to upgrade to a city if natives are there, and 2 more if there are no natives.) Is this intended behavior?
Basically, I was wondering if there's a place that collects all these known "features" in one place, so that support doesn't have to keep answering the same questions over again.
I was also wondering if it varies depending upon the scenario...
Thanks in advance,
Frank
