Franks with german portraits and early split germans

Hey guys,
is it possible to play with the CPR Portrait mod and let the franks use the german portraits? i like to play with the non-vanilla germans and in 1066 it just looks weird seeing Heinrich IV. as german emperor but with french crown and all, since the game sees him as frank when you play with the seperate german tribes.

another question, is it possible or is there a submod that makes the german being already split at the charlemagne start?

The first one I can answer:
Yes, go to the submod files under /common/cultures and open up the file there, then go to the culture you want to change (if I understand correctly it would be "frankish" (=French) in the latin group - but it might be something else, and you probably know best), and change the "frankishgfx" there to "germangfx", and save.
Note that this will of course make all Frenchmen (or whatever culture you changed) look like Germans.
