Free Alloy Bug [Not A Bug]

When upgrading fleets you get the alloys back.

3. What DLC do you have installed?
Expansion Pass One
4. When did this start happening?
I just noticed it today because I was watching my fleets upgrade
5. Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how
I have replicated it in this save by upgrading my fleets
6. Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
Haven't checked yet
7. What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?
It isn't an issue for me, so none.

Also I couldn't upload a .mp4 file because it wasn't allowed, even thought it is in the allowed files, so I zipped it.

It is working as designed that fleet upgrades can give resource refunds, in the event that components your upgrade puts on your ships is cheaper than the ones currently on your ships, you will gain some alloys instead of losing them.
