Free IDs

Hello,

I'm trying to mod the English monarchs file (I'd like to add more or less fictional Yorkist monarchs). Prior to patch 1.3 betas monarchs_eng file provided would-be modders with a wide range of free ID's:

## Ids free 00010 to 00058

Under FTG 1.3 betas the very same file says there is no more free ID's for English monarchs: ID's run from 04030 (King Henry V) to 04054 (Queen Anne).

# No free IDs

Does that mean that the previously free ID's (from 00010 to 00058) are not free anymore ? Or does the expression "no free IDs" simply imply that you can't use ID's beyond 04054 (especially ID's following 04054 such as 04055, 04056, and so on) for the English monarchs file ?

Generally is there any means to know which ID's are still free and ready for use ?

Guess those IDs were simply used somewhere else. Well, you can try them andd see if it works. If not, error will pop up and you'll know.

Well, you don't have to use 0xxxx IDs in first place. AGCEEP uses normal numbers too.

Not sure if there is a major ID base for vanilla, AGCEEP surely has one (although I imagine it's mostly outdated) - http://agceep.net/modding.htm

Just pick a random high number and try. Usual way to go
