Freezing Problem

To Whom it May Concern:

I have had a problem with autosaving as of JUN1942.

I am operating with the 1.06 Patch and have been playing the United States.

It seems to only occur after annexing Mexico.

Loading of saved games after JUN1942 also freezes the program.

Is there any possible solution to this problem?

You may want to try the HOI FIX program.
I think it is compatible with 1.06.

You should be able to find it in the bug forum.

Thanks for the link to the thread.

I downloaded the hoi fix program, and ran it on the files causing the problem in question.

Of course this created the fix-x.eug file.

I loaded those saved files . . . and I arrived at the same result.

The program froze up completely.

Is there something that I am not doing?

Is it cause I annexed Mexico?

-Frustrated and confused.

Do you have an earlier save from before you took over Mexico?
If you play on with it and not Annex Mexico does it play fine and load future saves okay?

Well it seems to be OK until I annex Mexico.

Furthermore, France Annexes Vinchy France about 2 months prior.

I am running HoI Ver 1.06, no mods.

There is a problem with Vichy France I beleive, check the bug forum.
