My game freezes for almost a second everytime I press a button, like one of the tabs or portraits. it's not a long wait, but considering how frequent you use them during a game, it quickly becomes very disruptive, if not game breaking.
I haven;t played the game since before the new patch and DLC, so I cant say whether they caused it, but the problem wasn;t there when I played previously, with no other changes to my hardware.
The game seems more unresponsive in general, with regards to appearing to have stopped responding on the splash screens and longer save loading times, though the freeze is my main problem, as the other don;t affect gameplay much.
I;ve tried reinstalling it several times, also deleting the paradox folder in my documents. I validated the game cache as well (steam)
All to no avail.
Any help will be appreciated.
