I'm playing as England in ACGEEP Grand Campaign. I conquered France and Dauphine in the HYW, so now I am a super power. I didn't convert to Protestant right away after the Reformation, but once most of England's provinces became Protestant, I converted. Well, after spending huge sums of money on missionaries, I had converted all of England, as well as about 1/5 of France to Protestant, when Calvin pops up. Suddenly, over half of my Protestant provinces (including many I spend hundreds of ducats on to make Protestant) converted to Reformed. This is really frustrating. Is there any way to limit the spread of Calvinism in my Empire? At the very least, is there a way to stop my Protestant provinces from going Calvinist?

The AGCEEP reformation is, as far as I know, based on the propability and chance of certain provinces converting. For instance, some provinces in the south of France will "always" convert to the reformed faith. Therefore you cannot affect the reformation "in-game".

I'd say the only way to stop them from going reformed would include some editing.

Thanks for the responses. I'll just have to ride this one through, I guess. I don't want to totally alter the game. It's just frustrating to spend hundreds of ducats making a Catholic province Protestant, and then two months later it automatically goes Reformed. I've adopted a policy of only converting Reformed Provinces to Protestant. At the very least, they won't go back to Reformed on their own, will they?
