So once in while I pop in again a start looking for some easy to read AAR's because I need things to do during my breaks. Also they need to be at least somewhat funny. There may be failure. Now that I think of it. Funny Failure is Great.

So what do you propose?
I already found back Suenik Reloaded in CKII, but I'm sure there are others.

Sad.

Where are the new Alfred Packerts and phargles...

Thanks for the mentions, @stnylan. :) While not comedy AARs, I do like some humorous content. I may even sometimes achieve it.

There is @El Pip’s Inevitable Defeat. He does sardonic humour well.

I'm going to check your stuff. And indeed El Pip is always good.

Sadly however @stnylan is correct, it appears to be a fallow time for Comedy AARs with just me and @iain_a_wilson keeping the flame alive. That said there's a new North Korean AAR literally just started in HOI3 forum which I think has potential - Adventures of Kim Il-Sung and the PRK - North Korean propaganda and the HOI3 AI are some potent comedy ingredients so fingers crossed.

If you do find anyone else venturing into the genre then please be sure and let me know.

Yes, there has been a turn to the serious in the last year or so. I have a suspicion as to partly why that might be the case - there have been a number of top-notch narrative AARs that have been mentioned as inspirations quite a few times, especially in CK2.

Sweet plug for me. Thanks

Best Korea AAR sounds fun just by the sound of it... ;)

Those narrative AARs do tend to have so many words... it's almost like work to read them.

Anyway, I'll continue my quest for fun AARs.

Thanks for the plug @Murmandamus and @El Pip ! Suenik always welcomes new comers!

I think Murm's right though - there are comparatively few comedy AARs around these days which is a shame. My recent Paradox-game-buying-binge has prompted me to consider a Stellaris comedy (honestly, the pictures for some of the races alone are excellent comedy fodder) or I might resurrect and finally finish my Victoria comedy if there's interest *coughs* shameless plug *coughs*

Oh Stellaris has great potential for humour. @Farquharson did a couple a year or so back.

Any comedy is fine, Iain.

I remember Farq. I look for it.
