Game-Breaking Bug Blank Map

The game runs great, but there's 1 problem. The world map is black! I've tried every combination of DLC and settings, rebooted, and even deleted and redownloaded local files. Everything works but this. I'm using an oldish mac that just meets the minimum requirements. Please help.

Thanks for the report. I'm not at work right now since it is 22:27 in the evening, but I'll look at this post the first thing in the morning. First of: what operating system/version are you on? Secondly: what graphics card are processor are you running?

When I look again, it seems I don't reach the minimum requirements. I have an Intel core i3 (for some reason I thought I had an i5) with 8 GB RAM running latest OS. What I don't understand is that the game is running fine. The only problem is the blank map screen.

Oh. Another thing that might help you is that I sometimes have the same problem in EUIV.

Since your computer doesn't meet the lowest requirements there's unfortunately not much I can do from my end. Just to be sure though, have you tried to toggle some of the options in the graphics options? (the small checkboxes) I can find one issue about something similar in our internal bug database where low end graphic cards would get a black map, they "solved" this by toggling some of the options in the graphics option menu.
