Game Crash On Starting Scenario

After I select a country and load up, it crashes. Any idea what's up? I've tried reinstalling (even deleting everything and then reinstalling) and it didn't help. It's been a while since I last played DH and it was fine. I'm using Steam btw.

Sometimes if I get it started without a crash, it will crash when I try to end the scenario.

Steam screwed up in one of the latest Client Updates.

Start the Game directly from the Game .Exe (or Launcher if you´re playing with Mods)

Is there anything special you have to do if you are running Kaiserreich? Because I can't get that to play for nothing in the world.

Most probable cause is imcompatible DH/KR version.

No, I have the right version. I literally just ran the game a few days ago (a day prior to the Steam update) and it worked fine. Thanks anyway. is there an ETA on when Steam gets its act together?

Actually it is supposed to be resolved now with the latest Steam update.
If that doesn't work, no idea for an ETA. It is up to Steam.
