Game crash

Hello,

When I start the game, it crashes after some short time, not even reaching the menu. There is no crash pop-up, or anything, it just exits. Tried reinstalling, but no luck. What is curious, that last week after the game updated to the 1.2, I played a couple of hours, there was no problem then.

I attached some information.

Btw I found 4 folders in the crashes folder. 1 from yesterday and three from today, if I see correctly, the yesterday's one and the first from today is slightly bigger.
As I can't upload entire folders, what should I?

We in tech support can't read crash dumps anyway, so don't worry about them!

Have you had a major Windows or antivirus update since the game last ran okay perhaps?

c0000409 is a stack overflow, so a bit weird that is happening with the same game version as worked fine. Anyway let's try a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Imperator
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Imperator AND Documents/Paradox/Imperator folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add imperator.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular you need to make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Imperator or Documents Imperator locations, before installing again.

I haven't had any updates since then. Only for my antivirus, but that was only yesterday, when the problem already existed.

I did all the recommended things, and works like a charm, thank you
