Description​

With new patch 1.37.2, game started to crash, but if run it through eu4.exe, everything is fine. Could there be a problem with the launcher?

Idk? Update to latest version 1.37.2 and start gameas usual (through paradox launcher)/

I did not see any other posts about new crashes with version 1.37.2, so it is probably something specific to your computer. You could post in the tech support forum to get direct help. To narrow down the problem, you could try to start the launcher with dowser.exe to bypass steam and change the launch options in steam to start eu4.exe directly from steam. If the first works, but the second doesn't, it is probably something from steam which is causing the crash. You can also post your log files, exception.txt and the output from dxdiag so that the tech support can diagnose your problem

Hello there! Thank you for the report. Could you provide more information and, if possible, send the crash folder? It should be located in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\crashes folder.
