Game crashes all the time while playing

Description​

I play EU4 on a MacBook Air M2, 2022 -- Sequoia 15.4.1 (24E263).

EU4 crashes all the time for me in gameplay. Half of the time I can restart steam and play again, but half of the time the game crashes at a point and no matter how many times I reload I can never move on and I have to start a new game. There is no rhyme or reason (as far as I know) for the crashes, they don't follow a pattern, but it is becoming more frequent and is rendering the game unplayable. This is very frustrating as I have more than 3500+ hours into the game and can almost no longer play. Please help!

Steps to reproduce​

There is no rhyme or reason for the crashes. I will play as any country, and there is about a 50/50 chance that the game will crash at any point in the game. Most of the time, it doesn't matter how many times I reload, the game will become unpassable at this point and I can no longer play that saved game.

The moment I logged in to the forums to check bug reports I knew I would meet a fellow mac user. I'm here after two different gameplays ending with CTD. EU IV is basically not playable at the moment.
I have no solution to the problem, people who can read exception.txt won't have the solution. That's the state of things with MacOS at the moment sadly.

What do you mean? There are plenty of threads with explanations about the various crashes which contain ways how you can get past the crash. Just search for the first few function names from the demangled stack trace

What do you mean? I'm not very well versed in the mechanics. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of an explanation of the crashes I am experiencing? I literally can't even play a game ten years without it permanently crashing.
