I just purchased and downloaded Vae Victis and tried to play several times, but the game crashes after running only a few seconds. I have tried all your suggestions, but game still crashes. My specifications:

Intel Core2 Duo 3,00 GHz
3,00 GB RAM
GeForce 9600 GT
Vista32 HomePremium Service Pack 1
(I don't know how to run DxDiag in Vista)

Can you help?

Best regards

To run "dxdiag", You need to click on the Vista orb (the start menu) and simply type "dxdiag" - You may then "Save all information".

The content of Your "log" folder, within Rome's installation path, would also help. You can zip, or otherwise archive those files, and attach them herein.
