game crashes on succession

Description​

without fail march 27 when my fated day to die comes due to "know thyself" my game crashes on any speed. I'm not in an event or traveling. My first ruler succession also kept crashing because I thought he was traveling, but this current ruler is not in anything and is still crashing. Please give some help I really want to finish this run but I can't continue. Thankfully I won't have to do many since I plan to live as long as possible per ruler but still...
I've tried suiciding, killing myself via stress, and I don't have enough time to go on a hunt or get murdered by a rival to see if I can force succession in a different way.

I've verified game files, reinstalled the whole game, I'm running the latest nvidia driver
ryzen 2700
32g 3000ddr ram
1080 ti evga
2tb samsung m2280 ssd

No mods used

Steps to reproduce​

Run the game to March 27, 1104 and it will crash when succession occurs
