Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Whenever the Unbidden event triggers and the empire contact screen comes up where the Unbidden greeting dialogue appears, the game crashes to desktop. This crash is replicated on separate campaigns at the same moment. If I ignore the comms and continue playing with the window open, the game continues without problems. There was a time where clicking on Unbidden fleet in combat also crashes to desktop. I suspected that it was in conflict with mods, so I've un/reinstalled them all. I've also verified the game cache, backed up my saves and custom empires on the user document folder, and finally un/reinstalled the base game.
*edit - triggered events for scourge, contingency, vehement etc. Hitting their empire communication screen crashes the game to desktop also
