Game crashes when loading save

Game crashes every time I attempt to load a saved game (manual and autosave). The resume game function on load up does work. Not being able to load games makes game frustrating to play. This is with 1.9, and works fine with 1.8. Playing with no mods.

Is this particular to one campaign, or also on any new one you might start under the current game patch?

If the former, was that campaign started under the 1.8 patches or 1.9 ones?

Any mods involved?


But from that exceptions log the crash is in your Nvidia driver.

- uninstall it https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-tool
- reboot
- update that Nvidia driver to July 2025 https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again
- If GeForce Experience or the Nvidia app are running after doing that, exit them before starting the game.
