Game crashes when trying to load saved cities

Game crashes when trying to load saved cities

Expected Result​

For the saved game to load and be playable as usual. I haven't played Cities Skylines in about a month, however, I usually don't have any issues loading my saved cities.

Actual Result​

Tried to load a saved city, the load screen began to lag and I was kicked back to the Xbox Home Screen. I just bought Hotels & Retreats, Railroads of Japan, Industrial Evolution, and the Brooklyn & Queens DLC’s on 8/13/23. Since installing them when I try to load my cities the game lags and crashes before any saved city can fully load.

Steps to reproduce​

I tried this with a few saved cities and the same thing happened, they attempt to load and then the game crashes.I was able to create a brand new city which loads, saves, and works fine, however, I cannot load any of my existing cities. This problem is just with the older cities I created.

Yes I’ve had this issue too with the X Box One version which I reported on here. I feel your frustration but I don’t think the developers care about CS anymore (it’s all about the new game). I’ve got the X Box Series X (remastered) version now which has it’s own issues…
