Just the default settings, aquatic civilization.
It works at first but then starting to have more then 4 or 5 colonies and plenty of planets to colonies the game crashes when entering the colony expansion screen.
I even restarted two times now but always the same. At the beginning of the year I did not encountered these issues so I assume it is something from one of the last patches.
very annoying and I can not even get to the stage to build stargates.

Xbox series x player here I recently just bought the dlcs and it constantly crashes at the mid game I wrote in a ticket and all I got was sorry we can't track console why don't you check the forums to help you and one looked threw countless people having the same experience on ps5 and series X I honestly feel I got suckered for the money and no response or fix in sight looks like these has been going on for awhile back from January 2023 they need to stop selling the dlcs on both stores it's literally a broken product I don't know what to do

This is very unfortunate and sad. That makes me think again if I buy the next DLCs anymore. Even when I looked forward to the toxic dlcs coming later this month.
It just makes me wonder, when they don't track the console, why even collect telemetry?

I love paradox games I own allot of them but man I spent hours watching videos on how to play different strategies on how to play looked at the dlcs thought hell yeah that's allot of content got everything I wanted set up for my empire and right when things were getting good boom crash play a few months another crash played another game started over used less empires in the game allot less still mid to end game crashes they really need to do something about this or have a statement because like myself buying all the dlcs I feel cheated and I really like paradox

Oh really that's ironic that's what I played after downloading the dlcs was aquatic hive mind with me becoming the crisis it's just crazy that this game crashes at all it's dlcs sizes are like 10MB like wth games like phantom liberty size of 30GB don't crash but stellaris game a few GB and dlcs a few MB nope can't handle that lol I know there is allot going on the background calculations of pops fleets economy etc but like come on there ain't no cut scenes or massive visual effects going on like there ain't really nothing to render in all that's going on is a bunch of math minus what the fleets are doing
