Please run a DirectX Diagnostic:
Start menu - Run - then type Dxdiag, then select each tab across the top of the window, and run the tests on each tab. Then select "Save All Information" button in the lower right of the window. This will bring up a dialog box to allow you to select a name for the file where the information will be saved. You can save it right on the desktop as this will make it easy to find. Then copy the contents of that file from the start to the heading that says "DirectX components" then paste what you have copied into a post in this thread.

Unfortunatly you gave me the part I told you you could leave out and did not give me the part I need. :)

The bad news for you is that you are running VIA drivers, they are known to be buggy, not much you can do about it other than always make sure you have the latest version.

I also see that you Windowsd only has SP1 installed, move up to SP2.

Is the game installed to the default Drive and path?

I would suggest a reinstall to drive C and default path. You have a wierd drive config, definately not something I would do but to each there own. I also notice you do not have a CD drive listed for some reason.

ouch!
Strange, I would have thought you would have problems with other stuff as well if memory was bad.

Always add the same type of memory as the existing memory. ;)
