Reaching mid campaign now and game started crashing on most auto saves.
Tried same campaing with no mods with same results.

Updated BIOS, updated drivers, gave disk more virtual space, verified files on steam.

Disabling mods does not remove effects they g=have already had on the save game files. Do you also get this in a campaign that's never had any mods used in it?

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.

Please install and run the free utility Speccy. Send its output to a text file and attach that here please.

Well it didn't start crashing until around mid campaign so I would have to play for a while to find out.
Would prefer to save this campaign if posisble.

Despite that large paging file I suspect you are still low on available memory. Unload every other app you can before starting the game.

If that doesn't help, I'm not sure what else to suggest I'm sorry!
