Game Crashing on Map start

Since 1.0 and after latest patch, have continued to have recurring crashing which makes playing game impossible. Game crashes after I click on "New Game" it goes through loading, and then crashes as soon as map appears. Sometimes I am able to start a new game, but crashes in less than 5 minutes, usually when I am moving along map, or clicking several buttons in a row.

Specs:
Windows 10 64bit
i3-3220
GTX 1050
8gb RAM

Please make sure you apply ALL the latest updates from MS for Win10, this game needs them.

Add imperator.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.

I completed all steps above, and continues crashing when loading for new game to start.
